Tie Kim serves as the vice president of finance and administration at CHCF. He oversees the organization’s investment, financial, administrative, and operational strategies. In this capacity, Tie leads a team that is an enabler to CHCF’s strategic thinking by harnessing data and systems for insight generation, deep analysis, and cross-team partnership.

Before joining CHCF, Tie developed his financial and operating experience through acquirements at Deloitte, start-ups including Informatica, and impact investing at Omidyar Network. Tie serves on the boards of PayPal Giving Fund, El Camino YMCA, and Foothill Youth Basketball and is an advisor to early-stage companies focused on social change.

He received a bachelor’s degree at California Polytechnic State University.
