Krysten Curtis is the vice president of finance and administration at the California Health Care Foundation. In this role, she oversees the foundation’s finance, administration, grants management, facilities, and information technology functions, ensuring robust operational support for CHCF’s mission to create a health care system that works for all Californians.

Before joining CHCF, Krysten served as the chief financial officer and interim chief operating officer at the Kapor Center, where she managed finance and accounting, office services, IT, facilities, events, and risk management. Prior to that, she was the chief financial officer at College Futures Foundation, focusing on increasing postsecondary completion for underserved learners in California.

Krysten is an active leader in the philanthropic sector, serving as a subcommittee chair on the Research Committee for the Foundation Financial Officers Group and as a member of the Bay Area Foundation Roundtable. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is a licensed CPA in California.
