Gillian Cervero is senior grants manager at the foundation, where she is responsible for daily grant operations such as reviewing agreements, approving payments, managing the grantmaking database, and ensuring smooth grantmaking procedures between Programs and Accounting.

Her previous experience includes working as a program assistant and grants administrator at a children’s health foundation, where she helped develop and implement their community grantmaking program. There, she later worked in the fundraising department as a manager of gifts and grants administration. She was also a national grants administrator at an environmental nonprofit, where she managed private, state, and federal grants. She is a board member of EdVenture More and a former board member of Peak Grantmaking (previously known as the Grants Managers Network).

Gillian earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
