Susan Christiano is the controller at CHCF, where she manages the foundation’s financial systems and reporting.

Prior to joining CHCF, Susan served as controller at The San Francisco Foundation, where she assumed overall responsibility for the accounting functions, including the annual audit. Prior to that she worked in public accounting, providing audit services to clients, including many nonprofit entities. Her other prior experience includes working as a technical manager at the American Institute of CPAs and teaching accounting as an adjunct professor.

Susan has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hunter College and a master’s degree in taxation from Baruch College. She is a California CPA.
