About This Event

As part of a learning and action network, California Improvement Network (CIN) members are continuously engaged in creating change to improve health care delivery. This 2.5-hour workshop on March 24, 2022, helped participants develop skills to advocate for change within their teams, organizations, and communities.

Intend Health Strategies taught participants a framework for catalyzing and implementing change on the interpersonal, organizational, and systemic levels. Participants also explored Narrative Leadership, a method for uncovering and conveying the vision, values, and meaning that bring advocacy efforts to life.

This workshop was free and open to CIN members and partner, and intended for leaders, support and administrative staff, and medical and allied health care providers. Attendees were invited to actively participate in reflection, discussion, and small-group activities.

After the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand both technical and relational strategies for change making
  • Make connections between their leadership skills and the components of the Changemaker’s Cycle
  • Understand the role storytelling can play in advocacy and change initiatives
