Senior Strategic Consultant, Intended Health Strategies



Matthew Lewis, PhD, has taught on topics including narrative, leadership, trauma, war, American culture, and personal identity at Harvard, Syracuse, and Emory. While completing his PhD, Lewis was awarded a fellowship for excellence in teaching.

Outside of academia, he has led over 50 trainings on storytelling as an adaptive leadership practice in diverse settings such as nonprofit organizations and international NGOs. Lewis serves as a Senior Strategic Consultant for Intend Health Strategies, a national nonprofit working to strengthen primary care teams. He holds a
BA from Georgetown University, an MTS from Harvard Divinity School, and a PhD from Emory University.
