About this grant

To elevate the importance of mental health as a topic that health journalists should more deliberately cover, and enable the Association for Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) to develop a new “core topic” in mental health. AHCJ will develop a new section on its website to provide resources to help build the skills and knowledge of journalists interested in reporting in this area, as well as occasional topics on substance use disorder.
