About This Event

This partner meeting of the California Improvement Network (CIN) aimed to continue to establish network connections and build relationships among partners with the goal of accelerating the spread of innovation in care delivery. As the only network in California that brings together commercial and safety-net provider organizations, health plans, and quality improvement groups, CIN fosters valuable cross-sector relationships across the state. To learn more about our priority areas and how to participate, visit About CIN.

This virtual meeting focused on one of CIN’s priority areas for learning and action — resilient leadership: culture of wellness. The meeting on Wednesday, May 5 had a morning session from 10:00 AM to noon and an afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

A summary of key takeaways from the meeting was later published as CIN Connections, Summer 2021 — Caring and Sharing: Supporting the Primary Care Workforce.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Heather Farley, Chief Wellness Officer at ChristianaCare, offered insights on the unique experiences and needs of primary care providers and the programs and practices that ChristianaCare has in place to support their primary care workforce, including how COVID-19 impacted the delivery and outcomes of these programs. This meeting was a great opportunity to learn about successful strategies for building a strong and resilient primary care workforce.

CIN partners shared their organization’s successes and adjustments to support their primary care providers through intense change. Learn how to help you and your organization better understand what you might try, modify, or amplify in your efforts to support your primary care providers.
