Tuoyo Louis, MBA, cofounder and managing partner of Seae Ventures, is a venture capital investor with more than 20 years of finance and investment experience who has a deep commitment to health care, entrepreneurship and innovation. He currently invests in health care and financial technology companies founded by women and by those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and other people of color.

Louis previously established Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts’ strategic investments program and managed their corporate fund Zaffre Investments, where he oversaw transactions in early- to growth-stage companies. He currently serves on the boards of  the American Council on Exercise, Goalsetter, Clinify Health, Hurdle Health, and MD Ally.

He holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Emory University and an MBA in finance from Clark Atlanta University.
