Leah Weiss is a researcher, lecturer, consultant, and author. She teaches Compassionate Leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and was a founding faculty member of Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program, conceived by the Dalai Lama. In 2019, she cofounded Skylyte, which specializes in using neuroscience and behavior change to empower high-performing leaders and managers to prevent burnout for themselves and their teams. She runs a Mindful Leader’s Academy at Stanford’s Packard Hospital.

Leah has published two books: How We Work: Live Your Purpose, Reclaim Your Sanity, and Embrace the Daily Grind and The Little Book of Bhavana: The Thai Secrets of Everyday Resilience. She has taught and spoken at over 75 organizations, including Genentech, Goldman Sachs, NASA, the European Commission, FEMA, Google, Kaiser Permanente, BP, and Intuit. Her work has been covered by news outlets around the world, including the BBC, New York Times, Financial Times, TED, and Harvard Business Review.
