Homelessness and health are inextricably linked. People experiencing homelessness often face extensive physical and behavioral health needs. These needs can be further complicated by living in a car or on the streets.

Although the health system cannot fix every part of the homelessness crisis, there are important roles it can play. Homeless service providers, local and state government, housing developers, and others have a role to play too. CHCF envisions a future where different systems work together effectively so people are housed and healthy.
