Giovanna Giuliani was an associate director for CHCF’s Improving Access team. In this capacity, Giovanna managed the foundation’s work in the safety net. She also managed the California Improvement Network. Previously, Giovanna worked for the Pacific Business Group on Health, most recently as the director of the California Quality Collaborative. Earlier, she was a senior consultant to leaders in eight Kaiser Permanente regions for identifying and spreading successful internal and external practices to improve outpatient and inpatient satisfaction. Giovanna also served as a manager in Blue Shield of California’s new product development group.

Giovanna received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Swarthmore College and master’s degrees in business administration and public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
