The California Improvement Network (CIN) partners come together four times a year to share findings and ideas generated from work on the front lines of clinical practice. Each quarterly meeting focuses on a specific topic, with speakers sharing their direct experience in this area. Much of this frank and energetic discussion is captured in a brief newsletter, the California Improvement Network: Quarterly Partner Report.

Each issue contains:

• Case Presentations. Highlights from the speakers' presentations, including project intent, activities, results, and "lessons learned and surprises."
• Asked and Answered! This column focuses on the conundrums that arise as clinical practices undergo change processes. For each problem that is mentioned, partners offer their experiences and insights.
• Quick Takes. A collection of great moments from the discussion that may be useful to others in their own settings.
• Online Resources. Links to useful and actionable information.
