CIN Partner Meeting – Advancing Health and Social Outcomes in California

About This Event

The California Improvement Network (CIN) will host a one-day virtual meeting of CIN partner organizations aimed at continuing to nurture network connections and build relationships with the goal of spreading innovative ideas within the health ecosystem. CIN brings together health care and social services organizations to advance equitable health care experiences and outcomes for Californians through cross-sector connections, spreading good ideas, and implementing improvements.

This meeting is focused on the CIN priority area “advancing health equity.” Arnali Ray, executive director of Hollywood Food Coalition, will deliver a keynote address on creative strategies for leading both health and social service organizations.

During a panel discussion, CIN partners will share their organization’s lessons learned from implementing and managing a community information exchange. The panel will be:

  • Alana Kalinowski, 211 San Diego and San Diego CIE
  • Jessica Osborne-Stafsnes, North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network

Donald Proby, Proby & Partners, LLC will lead a session on how to create environments that center power sharing and power building across communities.

The partner meeting will focus on the following learning objectives:

  • Gain deeper awareness of how to creatively develop and lead programming to advance social and health outcomes in both health and social service organizations.
  • Gain skills on how to proactively work across organizations by creating spaces for power building and sharing.
  • Strengthen connections among partners.
