Our work in maternal mental health aims to close critical gaps in perinatal behavioral health services across California. We are working to integrate screening into routine care, expand provider capacity, promote culturally responsive approaches, and reform payment systems to sustain high-quality care.

CHCF is working with partners to develop innovative, practical solutions for delivering mental health care to California’s mothers and expectant mothers in need.
