CIN Partner Meeting – Innovative Approaches to Care and Service Delivery

About This Event

The California Improvement Network (CIN) will host a one-day meeting of CIN partner organizations in Los Angeles aimed at continuing to nurture network connections and build relationships with the goal of spreading innovative ideas within the health ecosystem. CIN brings together health care and social services organizations to advance equitable health care experiences and outcomes for Californians through cross-sector connections, spreading good ideas, and implementing improvements.

This meeting is focused on the CIN priority area “evolving roles and care models.” Clemens Hong, MD, MPH, of the Los Angeles Department of Health Services will deliver a keynote on strategies to support innovation based on his pioneering work to knit together health and social services in LA.

During a panel discussion, CIN partners will share their organization’s lessons learned from operationalizing CalAIM so far. The panel will be:

  • Virginia Beckman, Arcata House Partnership
  • James Trout, Molina Healthcare of California
  • Darlene Torres, Salud Para La Gente
  • Juan Carlos Vazquez, Salud Para La Gente

The partner meeting will focus on the following learning objectives:

  • Gain insights on how to spark innovation by breaking down policy and systemic barriers and engaging communities to ensure effective delivery of care and services.
  • Gain perspectives about how different organizations are operationalizing CalAIM to inform your own implementation efforts.
  • Strengthen connections among CIN partners.
