On August 12, 2026, Kate Meyers, a senior program officer at the California Health Care Foundation, testified before the California Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Subcommittee No. 3 on Health and Human Services. She provided an overview of Medi-Cal Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and the barriers to providing more Medi-Cal enrollees with these valuable services.
