Primed: A Roundtable Series on Tech-Enabled Innovation in Medicaid

Convening state Medicaid plans, providers, funders, and entrepreneurs

The Primed Roundtable Series seeks to foster candid and constructive conversations about the opportunities and challenges facing those implementing, funding, and scaling technology-enabled solutions in their states’ Medicaid delivery systems.

The first four roundtables will take place this fall in Nashville, Tennessee on August 29; Boston, Massachusetts on September 27; Denver, Colorado on October 26; and Washington, DC on November 29. Each invite-only, half-day event will convene an array of influential state Medicaid officials, plans, providers, funders, and entrepreneurs.

This series is cohosted by the California Health Care Foundation Health Innovation Fund and Village Capital, who partnered last year to lead the first ever ACAP Medicaid Innovation Challenge, as well as Speire Healthcare Strategies.

About the cohosts:

The California Health Care Foundation is dedicated to advancing meaningful, measurable improvements in the way the health care delivery system provides care to the people of California, particularly those with low incomes and those whose needs are not well served by the status quo. We work to ensure that people have access to the care they need, when they need it, at a price they can afford. The foundation’s Health Innovation Fund supports health care technology and service companies with the potential to significantly improve quality of care, lower the total cost of care, or improve access to care for low-income Californians.

Village Capital is reinventing the system to back the entrepreneurs of the future — a future where business creates equity and long-term prosperity. Village Capital finds, trains, and invests in entrepreneurs through its programs, studies entrepreneurs through original research, and shares what it knows with leaders in business, finance, and politics. In the past decade Village Capital has supported more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and facilitated seed capital into more than 90 graduates of its programs.
