Governor Names Sandra Hernández to Covered California Board of Directors

Today Governor Jerry Brown appointed Sandra R. Hernández, president and CEO of the California Health Care Foundation, to the Covered California board of directors. In response to the appointment, Dr. Hernandez issued the following statement:

“I am honored and excited to be joining Covered California’s board at such a pivotal time for state and national health care policy. Covered California plays a crucial role in making health coverage available and affordable to Californians. It is a national role model when it comes to delivering on the promise of the Affordable Care Act. I look forward to working with my fellow board members and with the Covered California staff to extend its impressive track record.”
