Sandra Hernandez Serrano is a Communications Officer at the California Health Care Foundation, where she works across all program areas and helps to lead the foundation’s organization-wide event strategy.
Previously, she was Communications Manager at Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP), where she led communications strategies that elevated the organization’s visibility among policymakers, funders, and health care leaders. She also brings experience in content development, digital engagement, and event planning from her roles at Kaiser Permanente and the California State Board of Education.
Sandra earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, Davis.
