About This Event

The California Improvement Network has identified making improvements in behavioral health care with an emphasis on cost management a top priority area for 2018–19. As part of CIN’s efforts to support organizations tackling this challenging work, this webinar took a deep dive into one element of behavioral health integration: integrating substance use disorder (SUD) services in primary care by more effectively engaging members of the care team to provide high-quality SUD services.

This webinar is for all types of health organizations that are working on integrating SUD services into primary care. Participants learned about:
• Awareness of various approaches to alcohol abuse treatment and medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
• How to effectively promote MAT services to providers

This learning webinar is a follow-up to the CIN autumn partner meeting and features Candy Stockton, MD, a health care leader with more than a decade of experience in SUD treatment and a physician at Humboldt IPA.

Please contact Marie Hubbard if you have any questions about this webinar.
