CHCF is working to improve health care for all Californians. That broader effort includes more tailored efforts to eliminate disparities in health care for Black Californians. We analyze disparities in access, quality, and treatment — elevating community voices while supporting policy changes to make care more just.

As part of its commitment to ending health inequities, CHCF partnered with EVITARUS, a Black-owned public opinion research firm in Los Angeles, to conduct a qualitative and quantitative study that listens to Black Californians via in-depth interviews, focus groups, and a statewide survey.
