Our work in telehealth expands access to care for Californians facing geographic, mobility, and provider shortage barriers. We support policies for sustainable provider reimbursement, promote equitable virtual care models, address digital divide challenges, and evaluate telehealth’s effectiveness.


In this 18-month initiative, participants worked to improve their behavioral telehealth practices so that patients would have equitable access to high-quality services that promote resilience and emotional well-being.

The Telehealth Improvement Community Fund (TICF), a seven-month initiative, helped 27 California safety-net health centers boost video telehealth usage. It featured flexible participation, resource access, and high engagement, leading to steady telehealth utilization and high satisfaction .
