Hospital Financing

Our research tracks the financial well-being of California hospitals. We monitor hospital revenues and patient medical debt to inform financial assistance policies, billing practices, and collection actions across California facilities. We track community benefit investments and analyze disparities in who faces hospital bills they cannot pay, informing policies to protect vulnerable patients.
