We are excited on announce the launch of the six-month Medi-Cal Academy Training Series this January.
Led by the Corporation for Supportive Housing with support from CHCF, the Medi-Cal Academy provides housing & homeless service agencies interested in seeking contracts with Managed Care Plans (MCPs) with the information and tools they need to understand the administrative rules and processes that govern Medi-Cal reimbursement and successfully meet Medi-Cal compliance standards.
By providing tools like organizational assessments, document templates, and interactive budget tools to facilitate financial and programmatic planning, the Medi-Cal Academy aims to widen the pool of potential housing & homeless service providers across the state that can partner with MCPs to drive toward CalAIM’s vision for improving the housing and health outcomes of people experiencing homelessness.
