Kristene Cristobal creates lasting impact in individual and community health through large-scale change efforts, systems improvement, and assessing and building culture. She is adept at strategic planning, shaping high-performing teams and developing vibrant networks of people within and across organizations. Over 18 years, she’s held roles as leader for clinical and operational improvement, expert in the spread of effective practices, evaluator for collective impact initiatives, evidence-based medicine consultant, culturally competent care manager, women’s clinic health advocate, and community organization change agent.

Prior to forming Cristobal Consulting, she worked at Kaiser Permanente for nearly 13 years. She directed a team that contributed to KP’s strategy for a performance improvement system, infrastructure, and capability building. Kristene earned a masters degree in public health at Harvard and worked several additional years in community settings, disease management, and systemwide spread of effective practices.
