Kristen Murakoshi is a San Francisco Bay Area–based editorial and commercial photographer specializing in food and farming stories, lifestyle, and portraiture. Her work exists at the intersections of visual storytelling, cultural preservation, and the magic of the sacred and mundane.

She is especially passionate about working with women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities and loves to collaborate with other artists and socially conscious brands. Murakoshi is a contributor with By and For, a member of Women Photograph, an UpNext member of Diversify Photo, and a 2021 Individual Artist Fellow with the California Arts Council.
