Katie Keith, JD, MPH, provides rapid-response analysis on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for the Health Affairs Blog. She is a principal at Keith Policy Solutions, where she advises nonprofits and foundations on health care issues and conducts original legal, policy, and qualitative analysis to support policy goals. Her work focuses on implementation of the ACA and its impact on underserved populations, such as the LGBT community.

Keith is a cofounder and steering committee member of Out2Enroll, a national initiative to connect LGBT people with coverage options under the ACA. She is also an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center. Previously, as a research professor at Georgetown University’s Center on Health Insurance Reforms, she specialized in state and federal implementation of the ACA.

Keith holds a master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins University and received her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
