John Ohanian is the chief data officer and director for the Center for Data Insights and Innovation Office within the California Health and Human Services Agency, where he leads agency initiatives to collect better quality data to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities, develop innovations to make processes more efficient, and help ensure equitable distribution of resources to all communities. Previously, John spent 30 years helping local businesses and nonprofits develop new organizational data systems, secure critical funding, incorporate social enterprise strategies, and solve complex problems.
