The version of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed by the US Senate on December 2, 2017, includes a repeal of the Affordable Care Act's individual mandate. Using estimates from the Congressional Budget Office, the Center for American Progress (CAP) released an analysis on December 5, which projects how many people in each of the country's congressional districts would be uninsured in 2025 as a result of repealing the individual mandate. CAP also breaks down coverage losses by insurance type.
