21st Century Primary Care: Engaging Patients in a Digital Age

Webinar

This webinar looks at two innovative care delivery models, in a community clinic and a medical group, that are trying to improve the customer experience for patients.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

In contrast to industries like banking and retail, which constantly seek to improve the customer experience, health care tends to revolve around how providers like to practice. However, some innovative models are in the works.

West County Health Centers, a federally qualified community clinic based in Sonoma, California, is experimenting with technology to enhance the patient-provider relationship. And One Medical Group, a concierge-style practice with sites in San Francisco and New York, is designed to appeal to busy professionals who prize convenience. Its model was recently profiled in the New York Times.

The presenters were:

  • Jason Cunningham, Agency Medical Director, West County Health Centers
  • Thomas H. Lee, CEO, One Medical Group
