Lisa Kang is director of grants administration at the foundation, and oversees the foundation’s grantmaking processes.

She is responsible for maintaining the foundation’s grants management systems, monitoring the contractual and financial management of the foundation’s grants, and ensuring information on the foundation’s grantmaking is readily available and accurate. Prior to joining CHCF, Lisa was the grants manager at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Commonwealth Fund, and the American Music Center (now New Music USA). She had previously pursued a career as a concert pianist. Lisa earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from the Juilliard School, and a master’s degree in arts administration from Columbia University, Teacher’s College.
