Lauren Vandam is grants manager at the foundation, where she is responsible for daily grant operations, such as reviewing agreements, approving payments, managing the grantmaking database, and ensuring smooth grantmaking procedures between program and accounting staff.

Her previous experience includes working with CHCF’s Improving Access team as a program associate. In this role, Lauren managed the grants administration function for the team and provided administrative support to the team and other members of the CHCF staff. For six months, Lauren served as the interim grants manager. During this time, she developed skills to assist in the system administration of Salesforce.

Prior to joining CHCF, Lauren worked for Lafayette Physical Therapy, where she managed the daily functions of the front office. She oversaw patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance authorizations and verifications. She coordinated and maintained the schedules for physical therapists, Pilates instructors, and massage therapists, and also supervised the patient services representative. Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.
