Charles Reader is chief talent officer at CHCF, where he provides executive and operational leadership of human resources and talent management at the foundation. In this role, he develops strategies for staff engagement and development, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Prior to joining CHCF, he was vice president of human resources for LEWIS Global Communications’ US region, leading the overall human resources and talent management operations for more than 200 employees across four offices. Charles holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute, as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resources Management. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Walden University.
